Microchips

Microchips range from 1/8” to 3/8” in length. Microchips are primarily used to manufacture dense and durable wood pellets. The feedstock is a blend of debarked chips and non-debarked chips that will determine the ash content.     

The Drum Micro Chipper is most commonly used in the field directly after the harvest.
